Before pressing, the shell, which naturally contains bitter substances, is removed from the seeds. Hemp seed oil has a naturally high omega-3 fatty acid content. Important omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are present in hemp seed oil in an optimal ratio of 1:2,5 -3 - it is a unique property among edible oils. In addition, hemp seed oil also contains the rare fatty acid - gamma-linolenic acid. Hemp seed oil will not only create a gourmet dish, but is also suitable for skin care. A unique natural source of Omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids. The alpha-linolenic acid contributes to the maintenance of normal cholesterol levels in the blood. The positive effect is based on the intake of approx. 2g of alpha-linolenic acid/person/day. One tablespoon of hemp seed oil per day (15 g) covers the recommended daily dose.
